1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already accepted the cookie notice.

Not all cookies do the same thing. Some are necessary for the site to work at all. Others collect anonymous data about how people use the site. We explain each type below.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active

These are required for the website to function. They store your cookie consent preference so the notice does not appear on every page.

Duration: Persistent · Provider: Neurokiln

Analytics Cookies

These collect anonymised data about how pages on this site are used — which pages are visited, how long people spend on them and where they arrived from. The data is aggregate and does not identify individual visitors. We use this to understand where the site could be clearer or more useful.

Duration: Up to 13 months · Provider: Google Analytics (where enabled)

Marketing Cookies

These are used to track visitors across websites and to show advertising relevant to interests shown on previous visits. We use these only if you accept and where advertising integrations are active.

Duration: Up to 90 days · Provider: Meta Pixel, Bing Ads (where enabled)

Preference Cookies

These remember choices you make, such as language or region settings. They allow the site to remember information so you do not need to re-enter it on each visit.

Duration: Session or persistent · Provider: Neurokiln

4. Cookie Duration

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. They are used to maintain continuity during a single visit.

Persistent cookies remain on your device after you close the browser, up to the expiry period stated for each type. Your consent preference is stored as a persistent item in your browser's localStorage with no expiry — it remains until you clear your browser data or change your preferences here.

5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Note that disabling all cookies may affect site functionality.

Google Chrome
Open Chrome → Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block all cookies, allow all, or set exceptions per site. To delete existing cookies, go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox → Preferences → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection. For full cookie management go to the same section and scroll to Cookies and Site Data. You can set Firefox to delete cookies when you close the browser.
Apple Safari
Open Safari → Preferences → Privacy. You can block all cookies or manage them site by site. To remove existing cookies, go to Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data and remove items individually or all at once.
Microsoft Edge
Open Edge → Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can block third-party cookies, allow all, or set per-site exceptions. Clear existing cookies from Settings → Privacy, search and services → Clear browsing data.

On mobile browsers, cookie settings are typically found under your device's browser app settings or within the browser's Settings menu.

6. Your Rights

You can withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time using the preference controls in Section 3 above. Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies means those cookies will no longer be set on future visits. It does not remove cookies already placed during a previous session.

Disabling analytics cookies means we receive no data about your visit. Disabling marketing cookies means ad pixels, where active, will not be triggered. The site will continue to function fully with only essential cookies active.
